How many totes you'll need
Studio ~20, 1-bedroom ~30, 2-bedroom ~40, 3-bedroom ~55, 4-bedroom ~75. Older midtown homes have smaller closets, so counts often run a little lower; East Ventura homes with full garages run higher. The tote estimate guide has the room-by-room breakdown.
Ventura-specific tips
- Hillside streets. Steep driveways above downtown are exactly why the dolly is included. Keep totes at or under 65 lbs and roll, don't carry.
- Parking. Midtown and downtown streets fill up fast. Tell us where the truck can stop and we'll drop totes as close to your door as possible.
- Marine layer. Mornings near the beach are damp. Plastic totes shrug off moisture that softens cardboard — see moving in wet weather.

When to book
Book two to three weeks out for month-end or weekend dates. Choose a pickup that uses your full package days so you're not rushing to unpack. Tight timeline? Call (805) 273-8732 — same-week often works.
