How many totes will you need?
Match your home to the right package so you're not scrambling mid-pack:
- Studio ($119): 8–10 totes · 5-day rental
- 1-Bedroom ($149): 12–15 totes · 5-day rental
- 2-Bedroom ($179 — most popular): 18–22 totes · 7-day rental
- 3-Bedroom ($229): 25–30 totes · 10-day rental
- 4-Bedroom ($299): 35+ totes · 10-day rental

Kitchen (3–4 totes)
- Dishware tote: plates and bowls wrapped in kraft paper, stacked on edge (never flat). ~12–16 place settings.
- Glassware tote: 6 inches of towels on the bottom, glasses upright, paper between rows. ~24–30 glasses.
- Cookware tote: pots, pans, and lids layered with kitchen towels. Baking sheets on top.
- Pantry tote: heavy cans on the bottom, boxes and bags on top, spices tucked in gaps.
- Small appliances: blender, toaster, coffee maker — wrap each, use original boxes if you still have them.
Bedroom & closet (2–3 totes per person)
- Clothing tote: hanging items stay on the hanger, laid flat across the bottom, then folded items on top. Roughly one month's daily wear per tote.
- Bedding tote: one bed per tote — fitted sheet, flat, pillowcases, blanket, mattress protector. Unpacking = one tote per bed.
- Shoes tote: wrap each pair, stand them upright sole-to-sole. Fits 12–18 pairs.
- Nightstand miscellany: jewelry, meds, chargers, sentimental items — keep in a labeled bag inside the bedroom tote so nothing gets lost.
Living room (2–3 totes + furniture handled separately)
- Books + light decor tote: books fill the bottom third only — top two-thirds with pillows, throws, or picture frames. Prevents a back-breaker.
- Electronics: original boxes when possible; otherwise wrap in moving blankets and stretch wrap. Bag cables per device.
- Artwork & mirrors: stand upright, never stacked flat. Wrap each with a moving blanket or towel.
- Lamps & decor: shades wrapped separately, bases padded. Cushions and throws fill gaps in other totes.
Bathroom & laundry (2–3 totes)
- Meds & toiletries tote: bottles upright, liquids on top, use a small plastic bin inside the tote as spill containment.
- Cleaning supplies tote: keep totally separate from clothes and dishware — no cross-contamination.
- Linens tote: towels, bath mats, shower curtain. Great for filling gaps in other totes too.
- Hardware: screws and brackets from towel racks or shelves — labeled bag, taped to the fixture itself.
Packing timeline
- 2 weeks out: walk each room, count totes, reserve your package.
- 10 days out: pack off-season clothes, formal wear, books, seasonal decor.
- 7 days out: totes arrive — start the kitchen (most time-intensive).
- 5–6 days out: bedrooms (keep out daily-wear essentials).
- 3–4 days out: living room and bathrooms — the fragile, careful work.
- 2 days out: everything except the "first night" bag (toiletries, one outfit, meds, chargers).
- Move day: stack totes on the included dolly, load by room.
