Our recommended booking timeline
Reserve your totes 4 to 6 weeks before your move-out date. For peak season (April through September), push to 8 weeks for maximum buffer. Our standard rental is one week; we deliver at the start of your reserved week and pick up seven days later.
Formula: identify your move-out date, count back 6 weeks, and reserve then. That single step eliminates most peak-season availability headaches.

- June – July: Continued high volume. Summer vacations and job transitions.

Unlike cardboard, which can be manufactured on demand, our totes exist in a fixed fleet serving Ventura County. If our fleet supports roughly 16–32 simultaneous rentals per week, January demand might sit at 6 and May can hit 28. That gap between capacity and demand is where late bookings fall through.

- 4 weeks out: Some preferred delivery days show limited.
- 2 weeks out: Many peak-season dates fully booked.
- 1 week out: Likely a waiting list with no firm date.
Working backward from your move date
Start with two fixed dates: move-out (vacating your current home) and move-in (accessing the new one). Then decide when you want to start packing — most households benefit from 5 to 10 days of packing runway. Your delivery date should land 1 to 2 weeks before move-out. Count back 4 to 6 weeks from that delivery date; that's your reservation deadline.

Standard rental is one week (1.5 weeks on 3-Bedroom and 4-Bedroom packages). Extensions depend on whether the next customer in your area needs the totes right after you. Book 6 weeks out and we have maximum room to shift delivery, pickup, or extend into another week. Book 1 week out and we're working against a fully committed schedule.
